As it was stated a good one. Im just looking at my IAB from "mysterious" maker AS in triangle and they have very similar obverse design and hardware is except the shape of catch the same. Coincidence?

          Hi Joseph,

as I know the makers of the M.K. series, the AS in triangle, and MK in trinagle are all from the Gablonz area and their design is very similar.

I'm in pure lust right now. Beautiful badge and rather difficult to find a number 3 in the MK series of 1-7!

Yes, interestingly nobody was able to find out the proper company so far. What about JFS´s badges. I have one of these and it´s sharing some similarities also!

Great looking MK3 in excellent condition.

As Sven rightly says, all these makers were located in Gablonz and likely shared the same designer.

Richard Simm IABs as well, very similar design to JFS and all these MK badges.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Ofcourse Sven! I was just trying to point out the fact that all these gablonz area companies shared their producing technology.

                      Hi Emmanuel

Another hard to find badge and original imo. What I like about your example is the lack of wear. The finish may have toned down but the details are still superb

                      congrats
