    Unmarked Heer Flak

    Hi guys,

would like to hear your opinions on this Heer flak as i have looked more into LW examples so far, thanks for having a look.
It lacks the chest feather detail?

A better view on the gun's surface & the hardware.

    Kind regards, Olivier.

    Hello Oliver,

I don't like it. We can see there a lot of material mistakes on the surface.

The obverse similar as Foster&Barth eagle's head, the reverse similar as Funke&Bruninghaus and the finished is IMO very modern grey.

    Best regards,
    Gabor

I agree, I would pass here as well. Copied from an S&L/F&B army flak badge. Paint is very new indeed, and the pitting on top of the gun makes it even more obvious.
      Kind regards,
      Giel

Signs of casting are unquestionable. I agree it's a fake badge.

I can only agree, a well made fake. Nicely detailed at first glance, but several issues that have been mentioned are all red flags.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks for your comments guys, glad to hear atleast i raised the right flags myself but silly i ignored what i knew from expierence (however limited) for just knowing its a rare badge. A risk free gamble so no harm done really , hope it makes the fake gallery...

                Kind regards, Olivier.

Very common but nicely detailed S&L fake. Well spotted.
