    PAB A.S. silver

    Hello,
here is my A.S. in silver.
    Do you think it´s ok?

There is no dot after the S and in the area where the catch
is soldered there is no visible rim.

The pressing rim at the edge of the badge is clearly visible.

    Your opinions are welcome.

    Thorsten

    Looks good

IMO looks to be an Original PAB in Silver. Congrats, it has the normal flecking and bubbling of silver wash found on PABS from this maker.

            Hello,

            I still have one question:

Is the rim, that you can see on the following pics, ok for the A.S. PAB?
I always thought, that such a rim is a sign of the casting of fakes.

            Why there is this rim?

                Hi Thorsten,

I agree with the others, nothing wrong with this PAB.

The rim is where the trimmer was not aligned properly, and left a raised lip like this on the top and right of the badge. Consequently, if you look at the bottom and left of the badge, you will probably see where the trimmer trimmed a little more from the badge than is normal, because it was not aligned properly.

As for the dot missing from after the S, that can be explained by a possible clogged die. I can imagine it wouldn't take much debris to fill in such a little hole in the die. Here is another Adolf Scholze example with the sam problem.
