    I like the bronze example.

Not sure about the silver one, any chance of better closeups?

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

both are original, shame about the chunks out of the rim on the silver. the box is for a silver wound badge

The bronze for me too is a good one, the silver has chance but I'd like to see some better closeups, I don't see from the pictures if the hinge-pin are correct and some details.

        My books:

        - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
        - THE SS TK RING
        - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
        - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
        - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

        and more!

I wish I could get better pics, but that is all I have for now. Thanks for the opinions. If I get them, I will post better pics.

I went to the estate sale today and picked up the two badges mentioned above. Bad news is that it appears the Silver one was broken by the Auctioneer between when he posted the pictures on his site and the sale today! I went ahead and got it anyway. Pictures are a little better....I took them as soon as I got home with my phone camera...so they are still not the best. Tell me what you see!!

I can only agree with the Joachim, both are originals. The bronze example is very nice, a keeper for sure. Two bad about the broken silver one though.

Thanks for the comments. Can you guys tell me the makers? Also, the Silver really doesn't look that bad from the front. The closeups really make it look bad, but it should actually display quite nice. In this condition, does it have any real value?

                        Thanks again.

                            Joachim,
Thanks for the information. It is an interesting badge. That makes three that I have gotten from this auctioneer. He said they came from the same estate. I was also able to pick up 2 cased EKIs, a cased KvK1 and some other badges. I repaired the box the Silver APB came in and it is now displaying a Silver Wound Badge..so that worked out pretty good! The auctioneer said all the badges came from this one estate. He also sold a Luger from the same place....pretty nice 1917 DWM all matching, 2 mags and a case.

                              IMO two original badges.
