UnmarkedPab Bronze: real or fake

I need or opinion about this PAB. It seem to be a "Frank & Reif" ? is it real?

Hi Val,

You are spot on, its an original unmarked Frank & Reif PAB, but the catch is a replacement IMO. F&R only used round wire catches.

Thanks a lot Tom. I've carefully examined the catch and actually it seems replaced. I suppose vintage.

I agree that it is certainly an original, nice to see in this "been there" condition.

You can see where the catch has been pushed into a blob of solder rather than the usual neater method when manufactured.
