I can only agree, this is a poor fake.

However, the funny design is based on a real IAB design, the "4-rivet" IABs.

This fake design, comes with a variety of reverse set ups, but I do not recall seeing one such as this. Fortunately the reverse on this badge is very bad and makes it very easy to spot.
