                Hi Heydrich,

also a very nice example of the hollow steel SHuCo IAB in silver!
Congrats on adding this to your collection!!!

The example of Ken is also made out of steel. They are very rare compared to the silver grade. It was on the MB Update some weeks ago.

                Best regards
                Sven

Only a handful in the steel bronze known worldwide, and, quite a historically significant badge, since they were issued before the solid SHuCo '41 marked IAB in zinc.

                        Hi Heydrich,

I can only agree with the others, a very nice original SHuCo in great condition. A nice rarity I am still missing in my collection, congrats on a nice pick-up.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Hi Graeme. Here's a link to the only other example, in bronze, on the WAF. Been a while... http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...o+steel+bronze
**I've never seen another one, but the seller I bought that one from said something like 5 known examples worldwide. If you do a side-to-side compare on your table-top, you'll see mine and Hays' example match up perfectly.
