Thanks Andy. The backplate has some activity on it. Could be someone trying to remove the plate? or a replacement. - interesting.

Hi Adrian,

I tend to agree with the others, a good FLL clasp but messed with. Along with a seemingly new backplate, it looks like the catch and even hinge might be repaired as well. They look correct, but the soldering around the base looks odd for some reason and may be signs that they have been repaired IMO.
