I think this is a good GAB

This GAB looks real to me...would just like to get some second opinions though. If it is real, does the condition look okay or pretty worn? I think the condition is ok IMO. Thanks!

Actually... it's a totally good, zinc based, hollowback silver IAB --by Weidmann. No finish left though, and the wrap-around hinge looks re-soldered at some point.

Its a iab not a gab. The hinge looks replaced looking at all the solder or is that not solder on the top?

            Hi Carl,

I can only agree with Ken, a fine original unmarked Wiedmann but with a repaired hinge. These hollow Wiedmann's are very scarce to find, a nice pick up in any condition IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Hi Carl

As for condition, these hardly ever show up with a good finish or in great condition..

              best regards
