    Opinion about GAB

    Hello Gentlemen,

I acquired this GAB, I'm not an expert about this decoration, so I'd have your opinion.

Sorry for no good quality of the pictures.

    Many Thanks

            Hi Rhino,

In my opinion, this is a fine original Karneth GAB. These semi-hollow examples are much rarer than their solid-backed counterparts, nice example IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I can only agree...a very nice hollow RK which as Tom says are rather uncommon.

              Regards,

I think the soldering and hinge are just fine. Sloppy soldering is common on these early RK GABs, so perfectly fine IMO. Here is mine.

                      Very nice badge Rhino!

These relatively early zinkers were for sure one of RK's better products!
                      Kind regards,
                      Giel
