    IAB silver/bronze?

    Hello,

I have this IAB, I think it started life as a silver one but it has been heavily polished and is just the (bronze) brass colour now.

This pin/catch set-up was however strange to me. I have the book of Weber but couldn't find something like this in it.
Is it good and if yes, who made it?

    Thanks, Jim

Wow. I think this is an original, wartime, early tombac S&L -with a rare variant hardware set-up.

        Hello Jim

This one is attributed to the firm of S&L, but it is not considered a wartime example. These are considered Post War production.

I agree with you, it looks to have been heavily polished.

        Best Regards, fischer

          Hi Jim,

I agree with Don, these are post-war S&L IABs. The reverse hardware is typical of S&Ls 1957-badges.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
