Just got this GAB. Took some shots with flash and some without. There is certainly some frostiness, but the flash sometimes obscures the details. Let me know what you think:

Hi Flak,
Very nice and original GAB as far as I'm concerned. Looks to be a zinker with an incredible good finish. Besides F&R this is the only GAB I know of that doesn't feature the cut-outs.
Here is what I believe to be it's massive zink brother. IMO quite an uncommon GAB.

I agree, nice badge and F&R related, designwise. Actually, it is exactly the F&R design on the obverse, so it might even be the hollow F&R (Flak88) and a later, unmarked version of the F&R GAB (Philippe) with different reverse design than the marked ones. Taking into account that they also varied reverse sides on their PABs, it might actually be possible.Cheers, Frank

Dear Frank,
Your probably correct and all these GAB's are indeed made by F&R. Just took a closer look at the marked F&R in my files and they feature the same set-up as the unmarked example I posted above, which also matches the set-up used on both marked and unmarked F&R PAB.
The small hinge base on Flak's GAB is not to be found on other F&R products but than again maybe they only needed this as an alternative on the hollow GAB to fit inside the wreath. Not a problem they would have encountered on there hollow PAB's or on their IAB's
