    Close Combat Clasp - Opinions

    I need some help please to decide which is the most desireable (or rarer) maker of the silver close combat clasp. I want to keep one of the following makers:

    GWL
    FEC. W. E. Peekhaus Berlin - FLL

    My gut feeling is to keep the GWL, but would appreciate your views too. Thanks in advance,

    I think the GWL is the rarer of the two imho ,just going by what I have seen on dealers websites, maybe Tom will comment as he wrote the book on these awards.

      By far GWL is rarer than FLL. But for valuation, condition is a big factor too

          Hi guys,

          I can only agree, GWL is much rarer than FLL. Interestingly enough, FLLs are probably the most common out there and GWL one of the rarest to find by far. Like Chad says, condition is always a factor, but in most cases I would keep the GWL.

            I'd go on the GWL because it's the more attractive of the the two and the market will pay more for them for said reasons.
