    Otto Carius PAB 100...

    Hello,

surfing around, I came across what purports to be Otto Carius' PAB 100 (a Juncker). Unfortunately I can't copy the photos and show them here because of copyright, but it is on Gordon's Medals Ltd web page: http://www.cocollector.co.uk/
Go to Online Shop and click on German Badges to see it. Does it have a chance? Seems cheap if so.

    regards

It could have been his if he bought it after the war at an online fake dealers site then inscribed it with his name...but that is highly unlikely so that means that that dealer is full of Sh!t.

        Hi macleod,

Otto Carius is still alive. I don't think that he has already sold his awards.

        Best regards
        Sven

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

If it was a good Juncker it would be a VERY good price and even better if it was really Otto's.

                    Chris

why i can't open it, does it work?

                          PS:
who has Carius's all document images?
I have the book "Tiger in mud" in Chinese published
by the personal authorities of Otto Carius,
the appendix shows some of his documents:
Ost, EKII, EKI, Wounded black, silver, gold,
RK, PAB25, PAB50, and congratulation letters
to his RK and ORK, but i think they are not full,
today i know he was awarded PAB 100, so anybody can
help me to have all the images of his awards.

                          thanks

Did Otto Carius really be awarded with the PAB 100 ? I guess he was awarded with the 75, and no pic show him wearing it. It needs to be confirmed. If he had the PAB 100, I suppose he should have been pictured in his book.

                              Hi,

I have just quickly paged through Tigers In The Mud (I forgot I had a copy...maybe I should read it ), anyway, the appendix has copies of the award certificates for his PAB 25 and 50. No mention of 75 or 100. Odd how somebody would go to so much trouble faking a rare award that apparently Carius never got...but maybe he mentions it somewhere in the book...

Sepp, do you own the awards you show in your post?

                              regards
