JFS IAB in bronze

Hello all,

In appearance this one looks like it is made of buntmetal or perhaps it is just coated. There is a strange crack going through the catch area on the reverse. The diagonal line going through the hinge has me worried as I believe it is a cast reproduction just like Chet's fake here:

Any other opinions on this one?

I agree with you, that this is a bad one.

Apart from the points you mentioned, it certainly does not have the feel of a good JFS, and the close up pics look to show lots of casting holes.
