    SS-SA Flying Badge

I have a SA- und SS-Fliegerstürme um 1933. I am not a collector and this belonged to my great uncle. I am looking to obtain some information, the value and alert prospective buyers. The badge can be seen in this link:

    http://www.military-awards.eu/german...ian-awards.htm

It is located around 4/5ths down the page and labeled SS - SA Pilots Badge.

As I stated I am not a collector and those collectors I have been in contact with were not very familiar with the piece. It appears to have had a short issue period and is rare. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep not much on it in English, that I know of. I always though it was a fantasy piece myself but supposedly it was produced and worn for a very short time in the early 30s.

Would love to see a period photo of one in wear.

I thought a fantasy piece too, the wings look a lot like a set of American wings..
but if that information link is right, hmm.. neat piece.

                      http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/ss-uni...1-33-a-161464/

supposedly according to one site this what the badge should look like
