    What the he*l is this?

    I assume this is like a post-war key chain of some sort, but this came from the daughter of a vet so I post it here. Never seen anything like it, and I assume it is junk, but would like any opinions.

    Would make a cool key chain, if you are in to that sort of thing.

    It's an SS 12 year service medal. I'm not qualified to say if it's a legit one or not, (I'm guessing not....The ring looks off) but they exist...

        Thanks Bob. I see now it's a pretty basic SS medal......obviously I don't collect SS or I'd know that.

                Can you imagine, that 1977 I found a cross just like that (RonRĀ“s) complete with ribbon with bullion runes, for GBP 1,50, in London, at a flea market... At the same market I also found a mint award for 40 years service in the Luftwaffe... Those were different times...
