Don, I just noticed the title to your thread. This is a bronze grade F&BL clasp IMO, not silver.

Tom, thanks for that - I was told by the owner it's silver, but had wondered the same thing - the owner's a good guy, so it's an honest mistake. Anyone else want to comment on the grade? I am considering taking it in trade, so want to be fair to him and also not value it for more than it is fairly worth!
