    Deschler IAB

    Love the "Deco" look on these zinc based ISAs by Deschler. A few off-shoot variants from other makers exist, but the distinctive features on the eagle head and wreath point to Deschler. Can be found marked, but with the later "ali" and wash finishes, while this piece has plenty of its original, earlier brennlac left. Thanks again Hans.

      I have one as well. The silver finish on mine took abit of a burnished look to one side of it. These tend to have a halfway decent finish that does not absorb compared to others. Definitely one of my favorite IAB designs.

        Thanks Rob. I like 'em all..., but these do strike a cord with me as well. Now hunting a steel one in bronze to go with it.

          Actually, no need to be shy, here is mine:

          You can see the side with the burnishing on it, more of a tarnish really. Good character while still maintaining a nice condition.

            I like the way yours patinated. Probably did that from the way it was worn, and adds punch to it. Thanks for sharing.
