It's an original FLL clasp with the crimped in hinge, but has lost all it's bronze finish. The backplate may be original, but due to the lack of any bluing, it's hard to tell. In my opinion, this clasp received a vigorous clean, maybe several, over the years.

An original clasp with some hard life. It would be shame to melt it
