Hi Adren,
A very nice original IMO, I like everything I see as far as the details, hinge, pin and rivets go. I would like to see a few closeups of the catch though to be sure its not messed with or anything. It looks a little odd with no finish on it, like the rest of the badge.

I think we are looking at an actual combat worn badge...
The top half of the pin is also missing finish.
Looks like there is finish along the side of the catch lower to the bottom.
