    Good S&Ł, repaired catch.

      I agree with Hans on the maker and repair. A nice, zinc based, oval hinge variant by S&L with a copper/brass coating beneath the silver plate (mostly worn).

          AGREED, a fine original S&L.

            Hi Andy

            A nice looking original

            with an obvious repair as already pointed out.

            I am surprised that we do not see many badges (with this variation set up), with lost hinges. There is so little surface area where the hinge is soldered to the badge.
