Thanks for the comments Chet . Does anyone know who the maker of the IAB is and the 2nd PAB (I think it is a Frank and Reif)?

After looking at some references I think the IAB was made by Mayer. Any confirmation would be appreciated.

I would say Mayer as well.

                      Hi,
IAB is attributed to Schickle example with the earlier round wire catch which is more uncommon than the called BH Mayer design IABs with the squared catch.
                      Best regards

                        The IAB is a Schickle

                          Badges look fine

The hollow PAB has been known as Mayer design also.

For me the IAB is classed as a BH Mayer design. There are many connections to other makers, but these are all difficult to substantiate, so until there is some positive proof I will continue to classify as BH Mayer.

Attributed is a very strong word. If the evidence for this is that it has a round wire catch and is similar to a picture in a catalogue, maybe "Schickle is a possible maker", is more accurate.

If you have more evidence please post it all here.

                          best regards
