It was a big work put togheter awards and documents with deep historical research, but now I'm proud of it!
Yes, this is a general book, as Graeme said, on market there are a lot of specialist books; and this was my intention from the beginning: write a book to know all about the german awards, because a lot of times we collect badges, shields and cufftitles, but we know very few about them; we are able to understand if a medal is good or fake but we miss its historical background.
Sorry to say, but in Italy the collecting (except for a few) is still very immature and there is also a lot of envy. I believe and hope that over the years maybe it will change something...
For the english version I think we have to wait, I'm working on the english version of my other book about Wehrpasse and Soldbucher and on an book about the Memel medal... That this will be only e-book (free for all the collector community) and I will present you in few month.

This has been a hope of mine for a while now - to put a book out about the history of each medal from the Wehrmacht - I have been collecting data for months now but am still VERY far off with pictures etc.
It would be a very general introduction to badges and more of a collectors guide/checklist of each badge.
I respect and envy the finishing of your book as I know how much work has gone into it!

The cover is from the english version, the rest is from italian version (the english one will be a little different and better...
