Does anybody know whether JFS and RK were the exclusive makers of the GAB 25? Does the GAB 25 ever appear in a hollowback version. Thanks,

Yes!
Yes, there is a very rare variation of the GAB (numbered that comes with a hollow wreath and riveted center, etc. It is similar in appearance to the hollow wreath pab pictured in Detlev Niemann's book on page 491.
I have handled exactly one example and it was a definate, period piece.
