Thoughts please PAB 100 & 75

Hi guys, am new to the site so hope this is an appropriate quest. for this forum. Was recently at antique store w multiple dealer displays & one caught my eye. This dealer's display had many PAB's of various kinds including a PAB 100 & a 75 as well as a white PAB. Dealer wasn't working that day to talk to, but my 1st thoughts are fake,couldn't get close inspection yet until dealer is there but how often does one encounter a 100 & 75 in same collection? I've never seen either at all myself & know they have to be quite rare. his asking price for PAB 100 was $245,prob way underpriced for a real,can't post pics because I'm not an AM but wanted to ask your guys thoughts on how many you've seen that are real ever?thanks for your time!

pretty sure those are fakes without even seeing it,those are very rare and in few thousands range in price.

but always good to take pictures of obverse and reverse when you trying to check here for opinions.

That price is either deal of the century or an overpriced fake.

Hey guys, thanks for all the timely replies. Pretty much confirming my already existing thoughts that the PABs must be fake at those prices considering rarity of items. I'm gonna return Monday & see if I can get some quality pics for further scrutinization. Thanks for helping a newbie out, I appreciate it!

always make sure to do straight on pictures and if you could,take pictures of catch and hinge as well.

Welcome Jeff, Be sure to look in the fakes forum and do search for 100 and 75 PABs. Get to know them better and the makers. Many fakes would be easy to tell some not. Could be your lucky day.
