Does this look like a good one? Has been repaired, but not an issue. What was the maker? Is this Zinc, or early war? Are hollow backs a bit more disirable? All opinions are welcome. Thanks!

Its an original BH Mayer. It is made from brass (tombak), not zinc. These are indeed more desirable than zinc badges, but the repair will hurt the value.
