    Hello guys

I wonder if it is possible to say who made this badge?

    Best regards

    Hi Marius,

A fine original. The maker is unknown still, I think it is Unknown Maker #1 in the Heukemes GAB book, but I don't have it with me at the moment.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi Marius

I do not think it possible to say who made this badge.

        IMO it is unknown #7

When comparing to unknown #1 they are very similar designs, but there are small differences.

You can check out unknown #1 in the GAB Gallery, but we do not have an example of the type you have.

Can you post angled pics of the catch, to see if it looks replaced/repaired, and does your catch open to the left?

        best regards
        Graeme

That looks like Hammer & Sohn hardware to me, that has been possibly linked to those Luft GAB's

                Hi Mike,

Very good observation and I tend to agree with you that Hammer and Sohn is a likely candidate for the maker. Not enough ofcourse to say for sure, but a lead to keep in mind with future discoveries.
