                  Hello Caleb,

concerning the PAB, here is a link to a discussion threat about this Pab maker ( IMO Aurich ) and you will see what an original looks like.

                    Hi Cpawl......

......The HA FAKE is very common. Very believable, but nevertheless FAKE. I know, because I got toasted by one, a long time back. Last Century.

Take a look in the FAKES gallery. It's worth your time, and will increase your odds against getting burned.

Now the PAB badge, I know the picture is a touch blurry but im holding the actually badge and looking at comparison, and it compared to the link you posted and they are very similiar i would say almost exactly the same, the only diffrence I can tell it only a little part of where the pin is being held pin is diffrent.

If im missing something please let me know,
                      Greatly appreciated
Thanks to all who have helped me, Im glad I asked before I posted on E-stand.

                      Caleb

                        Hi Caleb......

......What you are missing is the hinge area. That is where the story lies. The HA PAB never, ever had a ball hinge.

Another thing that is a giveaway about these badges is the metal they are cast from. If you scratch the back the scratch will be very shiny. Just a small scratch is enough to tell.

Oh yeah, the first badge is more of a biker pin.

....yes, Bruce pointed it out...the ball hinge is the most obvious thing
