    Silver IAB by W.H.

Has a very strong finish and is consistent with parameters for this maker as detailed in Sascha Weber's IAB book. However, I always like to get the experts' opinions. Thanks.

A nice IAB from Vienna, with the typical marks from a tool on the backside.

PS Not sure about "experts", I think "enthusiasts" sounds better

I agree with the others; looks to be a well preserved W. Hobacher with sheet metal hinge. Congrats on finding such a nice example.

              Best Regards, fischer

Just to be sure, I gently performed the acetone test to the reverse of the badge, and it was fine. I believe this is an unissued/unworn example that has survived relatively well over the years - just a few of the high spots are worn through. Thanks for all the comments.
