                Hello Panzercracker,

                How do you know the name of producer? Is somewhere any list of them for Edelweis? Im got just one piece in my collection, marked with letters which I dont remember now and Im not at home for check. Thanks for help!

                  To my knowledge, only a few manufacturers of the metal edelweiss existed. The example shown in this thread is made from zinc with a bit of "wash" finish left on it. The die characteristics are spot on to ones I've seen marked GB '41 or GB '42 or GB '44. The earliest ones by Funke and Bruninghaus were made of aluminum alloy or steel (magnetic), and look quite different than Brehmer's. If I had to choose between the two, F&B hands down.

                    I must agree fully with panzercracker the F and B for sure .There was another design of this also .This was worn by the HJ and SA .It is about the same length but thinner.
