    Hi,

I'd say the hinge and pin have been replaced. The hinge looks like a Wiedmann lily pad "type" replacement. The IAB, depending on how you are inclined, is:

    A) unknown maker, referred to as slim stalk, or
    B) unmarked Juncker, late war solid zinc variant.

Either way, a nice looking badge. The catch looks original to the badge.

    Best regards,
    Eric

      I agree with Eric

The area around the hinge, missing the finish, is too obvious for it not to be a replacement.

And I like the A and B options Eric , it acknowledges that there is a difference in view point amongst collectors.

      regards
      Graeme

        Hi Schwertehre,

I agree on the hinge, looks like a replacement to me.

Its a nice, later war unmarked Juncker IMO.

        Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
