    Knights Cross Photo w/ PAB

It's kind of hard to see, but the Knights Cross Holder in this silver frame photo, is wearing a numbered Panzer Assault Badge in this picture.

          Hi JR,

Super picture indeed! Do you have a name of the man?

Though I don't think he is wearing a numbered PAB on that photo. Shape of a numbered piece compared to a grade one is different and for me the picture clearly shows a grade 1.
          Kind regards,
          Giel

Sorry I don't have the officer's name as I've never take the photo out of the frame to ever look at the back of it. My photo doesn't show it as it was shot looking into the glass that covers the picture, but when you use a good loop, there is definitely a boxed number at the bottom of the wreath. Glad you enjoy the photo.

PAB is the unnumbered type IMO and the RK looks like a converted second class.

              Cheers Thomas

                Agree! Unnumbered Panzerkampfabzeichen! Leggort!
