I was surprised to see this level of detail in a zinc badge, quite impressive in hand.

I didn't know there were variations of these, I am really looking forward to getting more of these now, thanks for the info Don.
Do you have some karneths for me to see? Like the pebbled variant perhaps?
I almost got a bronze grade, but just missed out by a day on it. I was really glad when I finally found this one and although not a bronze, it's one of the most beautiful in my collection now. the eagle is very well detailed and was very impressed with the quality.

Hi again Dave. This one is as good as it gets. Desirable maker, fabulous brennlac coating and as you say MINT. What I love about this deeply dished out variant is the bird. And, compared to later variants (by the same maker), by far the richest in detail.

Thanks Ken, It's hard to stop looking at it. Again I am amazed at the level of detail for a zinc badge. I was very fortunate to get such a minty badge and as you know I love the minty ones. 17 of the 19 badges I have retain at least a 90% finish some even more.
