    GAB R.S. Aged Toned question

Pick this R.S. GAB tonight , badge has much finish left but looks like it was stored in such way that the back was exposed to I'm guessing cigarette smoke. Something must have been covering part of the back as there is a very distinct pattern.
Front looks like the top part of wreath is starting to oxidize. What is best way to slow the oxidation. For now I plan on leaving the back alone. I can feel a film on the dark area , silver portion is slick.
Anyone have a safe method of cleaning badges , or as everyone always says ,”Don't Clean”
    Tom

      hmmmm.....

IMO I would not touch it. It looks fantastic. Chances are you will
end up making it look unnatraly clean and ruin the character of the piece

I like this badge and I wouldn´t clean it at all. Was there some sticker on the reverse? I can see a lighter spot here.

almost looks like it was perhaps a price tag, or a sticker placed there to identify it?

I fully agree. When you mess with things you always wish you hadn't.
