                Absolutely beautiful S&L, would love to have this one in my collection, mine only has traces of bronze left.

                    Nice attributed S&L bronze, congrats!

                    Is the catch crimped in or does it have a circular base that is directly soldered to the reverse? If possible could you post a close up of the catch area?

                        I think Fischer is looking for pics of the "hook" or catch area, not the hinge.

                        I looks to me like it is the typical "crimped" catch, I don't think I have seen them ant other way with this hardware set up. Have you?
