Hi Eric,

Pics aren't the best, but as far as I can tell I can only agree with Patrick, looks to be a fine original FLL Heer Para. Yours is actually a pretty rare variant, with the narrow block hinge and therefore I would venture to guess that the wreath is also copper coated, which is common aspect to mid-wartime FLL badges. If you happen to have my Paratrooper Badge book, its shown as the FLL Type "A" on page 480-483.
