    Gentlemen,

    I would like to show You this PAB "25" which was part of a grouping of a soldier of I. (Panther) / Panzer-Regiment 24 of 24. Panzer-Division.

    What do You think about this unmarked piece?

                    the silver WB looks zinc>?

                    is the gold WB zinc or tombak>?

                      yes, I know the recipient and I will start a THREAD soon about him.

                      The "golden WB" is not a golden one - it is a heavy worn black!
                      The silver WB is made of zinc.

                          I only got the Soldbuch and the Wehrpass (Federal German Forces 1956) of the soldier...

                          He was a cavalry man of Reiter-Regiment 21 and became a tank-crew-member after 1st Cavalry-Division was reorganized and became 24. Panzer-Division.
                          I think You can research this with the SB-Pictures.

                            I guess he did not want to wear his awards whilst serving after the war as they remain with the swastika.
