    Infantry Assault Badge Maker ?

Maybe not the best representative piece but have had it for nearly forever.
Have not found it in Sascha's book but hardware similar to page 211, an example by Friedrich Linden/Friedrich Orth.
Can anyone identify this poor soul ? Thanks, John

Agree with Ken. Many makers used the same hardware, for example AS,JFS, JB&Co., MK 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and R.S.S all used the ball hinge and many firms including some Deschler's used a similar hinge/ pin setup that S.H.u.Co. used, Deschler also used the same "FLL" type hinge, you show, on their L/10 IAB, it all depended on who they bought the hardware from.
This maker is on pages 194 and 195 in Sascha's book.

          Hi John,

It indeed is a later-war Meybauer.

          Here is one of mine.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

            Hi John

            That is a "salty" example

It may be the case that this maker is Meybauer, and from the definite comments you would think it must be. But I do believe that the connection has never been made or discussed on this forum.

So some collectors are very open minded on this.

            regards
            Graeme

I certainly thank you all. A wealth of valuable information.
I went straight to the book and found the example. Also the Deschler L/10
on page 118. Same hinge and pin but for the tool mark at the top of my pin.
A square catch but with the round plate.
Good to know and thanks again. John

                Hi John......

......Nice TR, IAB. Unknown maker at this time, though assumed to be Meybauer.
I have to agree with Graeme here:

I agree with Graeme and Bruce...the marker is still unknown.

                  regards Michou

                    Thanks guys.
Knowing that it is unknown, or assumed to be... is knowing something. John
