This is actually a Coastal Artillery badge...Looks good though.

It's not that either. It's the Kriegsabzeichen für die Marine-Artillerie

or 'War badge for naval artillery' which included naval flak as well as navy coastal artillery.


Army coastal artillery units would not have qualified for this, it was a strictly kriegsmarine badge.

Hello Chuck,

Boy does that badge look familiar. It is an original Naval Coastal Artillery Badge by Steinhauer & Lück of Lüdenscheid. I owned this exact badge for a short while before selling it at the recent OVMS Show in Wilmington. Here is a link to the discussion thread about this very badge:
