    does not look bad from what I can see. Any chance for some closeups on the hardware? including a side shot of the hinge and a front on shot of the catch?

      Rob is right, these things are identical to the originals, but the hardware is the tip off, and although the finish looks maybe to be period, the fakes too are usually in mint condition . The hardware will be the deciding factor here I think.

        Looks very good to me, but always good to see some shots of the hinge and catch to be sure.

          I am confident that this is ok having had several before and checking up on posts earlier on the forum. I will get some macro shots tomorrow in daylight.
          Any indication of a reasonable value ?
