    Opinions On Gold CCC F&BL

Can I have opinions on this gold CCC. It is marked F&B.L and has about 10% of gold wash left. Would it be fair to ask for a value on a piece in this condition also if it passes authentication? Thanks, Mark. Weight is 31.8 grams.

Looks like a gold clasp to me and a good finish but I am not expert of finishes. I am also unsure on a good price...

            Regards,
            Chris G.

              Hi Mark,

Fine original F&BL and I really like the gold finish as well, perfectly fine IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Looks OK, but a photo is only a photo. Looks rather pale, but can be just the photo.

Thanks all for your input. A neat story behind it but I didn't have time to get into details right now. Any idea of a fair market value. Thanks, Mark.

I would tell you a rough ballpark of 700 - 1000 in my opinion only...

                      Thank you, Scott

                        According to Wikipedia...

The Gold Close Combat Clasp was often regarded in higher esteem than the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross by the German infantry. Of the roughly 18 – 20 Million soldiers of the German Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS 36,400 received the Bronze Class, 9,500 the Silver Class and 631 the Gold Class
