      I do not know enough about the cases to say one way or the other, but the IAB in my opinion is a fake. The hardware, its thickness and overall production seems not up to scratch.

        If anything else, a heck of an interesting fake. Here's the skinny: Badge thickness is (as mentioned) too thick, R.S. logo is wrong, many little die differences and hardware is completely wrong.

          Very true on the Maker Mark. Whoever made this must have seen a Naval badge and used that for inspiration.

            For sure, the badge does not look original.

            The style of maker mark is found on original IABs, or is there something specific you guys do not like about the mark?
