Don't think it is an ss ribbon bar.

Let some of the others who specialize in these comment.

Probably the blue ribbon is a 4 year service medal missing the eagle device.

        Could also be a Polizei 8 Yr. L.S., (or a Wehr./LW without a device afixed)....but SS is a possiblity.....

Most Army/LW/KM types certianly "used" a device, as did "Faithful Service(s) and higher RAD types..." (and RAD/T.S. Cross unlikely with all combat related ribbons*) Not "Customs" either.

I'd say Polizei or SS based on the ribbons.....(assuming nothing been played with)......

Ribbon bar itself all looks good.....all "match" and all "beleiveible"....IMO.

          Nice original bar!

Would also say that most probably this belonged to an SS man. But no way to prove that, and in no way does this increase it's value as it stands.

Good patina on the ribbons and backplate.

Ribbon bar is a nice original.

Does it come with documents? I have seen this somewhere before being sold as belonging to Waffen-SS RKT Obersturmführer Heinz Nowotnik.

            Kind regards
            Pierce

              Hello Michael,

That combination is classic early war Heer combination and that's just what I think it is.

              Regards,
              Stu

OK bar. Most likely SS or Polizei.
