    Hi John,

Can you post a few more detailed shots of the hinge, and then some of the catch? I still don't like it and think it is different than the original that you linked into the thread. However, lets look at some detailed shots of the hinge and catch on yours and see if they really are the same as you suggest.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

      Hi John,

i think this badge is refinished, this is why its giving such soft appearance,it has Juncker design and many things are very close if not spot on.

here is my example to compare.

Yes, I mentioned refinished. The well known dealer I got this from thinks that as well.
I tried acetone, lacquer thinner, and paint remover on a tiny spot on the back and the finish was unaffected.
It still has the wear to the high spots so maybe it was period done?
I am looking at in hand with lighted magnifier and looks spot on to me, even the back.

I see the hinge is different, in that the two tiny tubes at each end of the
shoe plate do not have the little 'feet' like the one in the link.
But to look at the shoe plate on mine, it is dropped down in the middle to allow
room for the pin to operate.
A lot of trouble to go to for a repo.
Give me a few minutes to download.
          Thanks again, John
