Hi Jamz,
IMO this is a reproduction. Poor obverse detailing and incorrect reverse hardware, along with a weird looking finish that is unlike originals are all red flags IMO.

I can only agree with Tom,not original badge, everything about it is wrong compare to known originals.Comment

Seems to be of rather good quality, but a closer look show quite "soft" details, something that original BKAs never have. IMO. So I must agree Tom and Eddie.Comment

A more true color here but the lack of detail is clear.
The acorns, and below the three lower hydra's heads in the blank area.
