    SS 4 year medal

    Hello all,

    Is there any tell-tale signs to look for on these for either being authentic or being a reproduction? I know there is a trait of the fingerprint on the 8-year version, which is along the same lines of what I am asking.

    Any opinions on this one?

    This one appears to be an original but I could be wrong as i am far from an expert on these.

      Check out my 5 year service one on the next thread, your is minus the swords etc, but the leafing surround looks similar

                  Can you show a clear close up of the ring seam, and attaching ring to the medal..?Maybe you don't have it there to get that shot...and maybe cant. There were different makers of these, and vary a little...looks promising.
