Looking for opinions on this PAB. I'm not an expert but to me the bottom arm of the swastika looks odd as well as the pin. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Very common fake, "Blob Fake" as Kwen said. Called Blob because of the blob look at the coaxial machine on the turret.

This blob FAKE is very well known, and is constantly asked about here on the forum. It takes far less effort to look in the FAKES gallery than to post a swarm of essentially useless images.

Bruce, I assume your intentions are good, but in reality its not as easy or far less of an effort to determine if a badge is good or bad by just looking at the FAKES gallery. Though all of us in this community have an interest in collecting and would love to be able to tell whether or not something is good or fake, not all of us have the time to dedicate to becoming an expert on one particular award or helmet, or blade, etc... I'm sure you know that to be able to recognize die flaws or particular nuances of makers doesnt just come with a quick glance at a picture in a gallery but rather from years of handling, reviewing, reading, chatting, and learning, which not all of us are able to do. That's one good reason why forums like this exist, for people with the knowledge to help those without the knowledge. So, as I say, in theory your intentions are well taken, but in reality not so much.

In reality those of us that haven taken the time to share the information we have learned from those years of study, etc. have spent even more time to try to enable you guys to spot the obvious crap fairly readily. Indeed there is no need to "argue or debate" here. However it never ceases to amaze me that members seem to have no clue as to the search function or the availabiltiy of the fakes portion of the forum when they post something for opinions. Nothing Bruce said was out of line IMO. Do your homework......
