    Assmann IAB #4

This is the newest addition to the collection. This maker is really growing on me.
The eagle looks great and the detail to the rifle is among the best.
    Enjoy.

      Hello Dave, Nice Assman IAB!
I do not have one by this maker in my collection as of yet, but someday.
      Congrats,
      Ralph.

Always liked these die-cast Assmann badges. The finish on this one looks really nice. Nice IAB collection too!

          Best regards,

Thanks a lot guys. I really like the details on these way better than my JFS. Very comparable to say, S&L, very detailed rifle and eagle.
Really nice hardware set-up, very Junckerish if you know what I mean. Needless to say I'm hooked. Probably one of my favorite IAB designs, aside from the all illusive NS Juncker, which I have never had the chance to purchase.
I used to see Assmann IAB's on a lot of dealer sites, but now that I want to get more of these they are no where to be found, but that's usually the way it goes for me.

This is the next addition to the collection once I send the money for it.
A nice silver Wiedman with lillypad hinge plate. Spectacular finish.

                    Hey Graeme,
Having one in-hand now, I know what you mean. Are there any differences in dyes between the numbered badges 1-4, or are they the same dye, different only in number?
                    Dave

                      Hi Dave

I suspect that there may be minor differences but I can't recall checking. What I can say is that you can determine the reverse die without seeing the number, due to the positions of the ejector marks. So apart from the numbers 1-4 on the reverse, the reverses are all slightly different.

                      cheers
                      Graeme
