    Pab 50 gb

This one looks a little rough, but what do you think?

    Hi,

Please post some detailed close-up photos from the eagle's head, the number box, the swastika area and the catch. If I see well, then the rivets with the hinge are not a typical Gustav Brehmer design.

    Best,
    Gabor

A larger photo of the obverse is needed as well.

      Regards,

        Hi,

There is no need other better quality photos, I think.
It is a fake -- it can be seen at the fender on the right.

        Best regards,
        George

I’ve tried a number of different places with inconsistent results sometimes from the same source.
I always found the Stuttgart sammlerbörse to be an excellent source for reliable dealers. There was one dealer, in particular, that I got to know pretty well but never bought from because his items were so exotic that they aroused suspicions. Unfortunately for me, the items were real; unfortunately for him, he was arrested by the polizei and paid a hefty fine for selling items from the archives in Berlin.
I was also fortunate that I was not on the premises the day the polizei raided the place to confiscate and later destroy every item in violation of the law. That was one very, very sad day.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
